Ideal and Reality

Looking at my career, I may have lived a good life and was assured of a comfortable life in the future. I fulfilled my dream in elementary school, was not troubled with money, and was blessed with the people and environment. I have lived a safe life without any inconvenience.

However, in reality, it was a busy daily routine. There was a lot of overtime, and as a matter of course, I was working until after 8:00PM. After returning home, I ate frozen or convenience store food, and just slept after taking a bath. On my days off, I was exhausted and spent most of my time sleeping. My face was haggard from those days. I first noticed it when my parents told me when I was returning home. Ironically, even though I had lost weight, I still had fat around my belly. Sometimes I walked with my head down.

To be honest, I worked for a measure company that people around me envy. I was getting a lot of salary, and I didn’t have a hard time living. I’m sure that when the job was decided, my parents were relieved because a certain amount of future was guaranteed.

I just started thinking that I made my dream come true, but am I really happy? What we are afraid of is that when we are in a closed place, we assume that the common sense in a small environment is taken for granted and miss abnormalities. I thought that if I continued this lifestyle, I would regret it when I looked back on my life just before I died. I wanted to try that or I wish I had done it this way.

Then, I decided to retire.

Trigger to Start the Blog

The reason I started blogging was when I retired. For the first month, I slept 18 hours a day, doing nothing. At that time, I kept thinking about what I should do to realize the ideal life that I envisioned.

Fortunately, in today’s age of the Internet, information is easily available. I started researching what people do and what they do for a living. I found people who live the same life as me, have gained freedom or lead a glamorous life. With so much information available, I found myself making comparisons with others and feeling even more inferior.

Suddenly, I thought that by putting my thoughts and experiences into words and transmitting them to the world, I would be able to feel positive about myself. I thought that there would be an opportunity to provide useful information to people in similar circumstances and people with the same values. I have no knowledge of the web or social media at all, but I thought it would be nice to try as much as possible.

At work, I am always told to think about risk hedging. In fact, there are many things that can only be understood by trying. Of course, there are many things that can be done differently. Before looking for the reason why it doesn’t work, I want to do trial and error that it should work. In today’s world of pursuit of efficiency, it may be that there are few thoughts of trying for the time being.

I was afraid of failure even before I started, and I decided to take on the challenge because I thought that a life of just running on the laid rails would be boring.

About iKIGAi

What is your “IKIGAI”?

I believe that IT is one of the reasons for our busy lives. It has made our lives richer and more comfortable, but also busier and more expensive.

One of the evils of the Internet is that many people are tired of information. For example, at work, an environment has been developed where you can contact anyone anywhere, with endless emails and chats, and endless meetings without breaks. In my private life, products and services that look very attractive are introduced on TV commercials and YouTube. Pursuing trends, buying new things and throwing them away.

Many people who have experienced this kind of thing think, “I want to live a comfortable life.”

Objectives

What we want to convey through this site is a proposal for a free and comfortable lifestyle realized with IT and minimalism. The purpose is to introduce wisdom that never wavers and makes life easier. There are two major themes to be dealt with.

Life

It can be bought cheaply, it is not influenced by trends, and it can be used for a long time. We will introduce you to the things and things that you need in your daily life that you are truly glad you bought. One answer, I believe, is minimalism. All of them are high quality and can be used for a long time without being influenced by the times, so you will not regret it.Tech

Tech

To live a comfortable life, we need to earn sarary. Introducing the latest programming software knowledge. We will introduce the wisdom to correctly face the information and live a comfortable life that we truly desire.

Initiatives

I have worked on universal design so that as many people as possible could take a look at my site.

  • I have applied the CUDO color set, which is easy for people with color blindness.
  • UD font families have been adopted that are readable for farsighted person.

I will continue to work on the theme of leaving no one behind.

Conclusion

I hope my articles will be one of tips that you are able to follow your heart without being swayed by others. If only 1 person out of 100 empathizes with my words, I am glad that I take the time to write even if the rest of people think it is not worth to read.

Now, it’s your turn to change your life. Let’s get started!
